Safe Contractor
Safe contractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors and service providers.
As Clients have a legal obligation to ensure that external contractors and service providers working on their premises operate in a safe way, there is a need to assess contractors health & safety arrangements and increasingly this is being carried out by Safe contractor.

CHAS
CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is a non-commercial scheme available to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably competent suppliers.
CHAS isn’t just for construction companies; it assesses health and safety for all types of suppliers, from care services to demolition contractors, designers and consultants. The aim of the scheme is to save time and resources by avoiding unnecessary duplication in the first stage of competence assessment; the CDM Core criteria.

LSH ContractorPlus, is the web based database of contractors who have been rigorously vetted to ensure their health and safety standards are of the highest quality.
The system, developed in partnership with Lambert Smith Hampton allows surveyors to search on line for reputable contractors and even filter the search by contractor service or location.
