Some of the ladies from Secure Site UK will be taking part in the ‘The Midnight Walk’ for St. Barnabas House on Saturday 24th June. This is the tenth time that the ‘Night to Remember’ has taken place, and this year’s walk is set to be the biggest yet.
The team aim to raise £1,000 for the hospice which provides vital care to a number of people within Sussex. During 2016, 409 patients were referred to the Hospice at Home Team for end of life or palliative care at home. The team operates a night sitting service from 10pm to 7am and last year delivered 3,562 hours of care as a result of that service.
None of Secure Site UK have taken part previously and are being brave by tackling the 13.1 mile route, which will take them through the residential streets of Worthing and up along Worthing seafront.
