One of our Secure Site UK engineers, Rich, will soon be attempting to climb up the world’s largest freestanding mountain – Mount Kilimanjaro! Rich will be climbing from Thursday 20th October until Monday October 31st 2016.
This brave trek that our Rich is taking on, is all in aid of a charity called ‘Georgie’s Gift’. ‘Georgie’s Gift’ is a charity set-up in memory of 23 month old Georgie Hall, who sadly passed away from Meningitis and Septicaemia in February 2015.
Rich is a close friend and team mate of Georgie’s Father, Matt, who established ‘Georgie’s Gift’ to help raise awareness of this killer disease, and to raise money for children and their families that have been affected by this truly horrible illness. Rich is hoping to raise as much money as possible, with no donation being too small – or too big!
Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks to see how Rich gets on, and to see how he is doing with his fundraising! For more information on Rich’s trek and to donate, you can visit his fundraising page HERE.
From everyone at Secure Site UK, GOOD LUCK!
